Hard as Jade

My name is Charity.  I have decided to write this blog to share our family’s stories of laughter, tears, anger, frustration.  I want to journal for my own stress relief but also to give others comfort in knowing that they are not alone.  My husband and I have 2 beautiful adopted daughters that are 16 and 15.  “Anne” and “Jade” is what we will call them in this blog.  Anne is 16 years old.  She has been diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety.  She likes to present the “airhead” persona and is very disorganized.  Jade has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder as well as oppositional defiant disorder and maybe ADHD.  This blog is about my struggles as a wife and a mom and a career mom to keep all of this in balance.
